Visiting for work and walk by on my way to work so thought I’d give it a try. The staff amazing, the atmosphere amazing. The pizza not so much. I have no idea what happened but it was hard not even burnt just hard like they cooked it double well down that every bite was a hard crunch that was not enjoyable. I did get only two slices and I get pizza places use what they have and throw on whatever topping and cook it again for a time but this was bad that I didn’t finish it and threw it out on the walk back to my hotel.

Very convenient to where i was staying. I ordered online which was convenient as well. The food was good. The garlic knots were hard and the sauce that accompanied 6 knots was not nearly enough. The sauce was pretty good, tasted fresh and not a whole lot of seasoning. The calzone was good as well. It had value because of the convenience and it was hot and tasted good.

Gaines Street Pies is much more than just a pizza restaurant. The moment you walk through the door, you feel like you've stepped into the pages of a comic book. The colorful artwork, creative design, and lively atmosphere immediately put a smile on your face and set the stage for a fun dining experience. It is the kind of place that makes you happy before the food even arrives. We started with the Cobb Salad, and it was exactly what a Cobb Salad should be. Loaded with generous portions of bacon and chicken, it was fresh, filling, and packed with flavor. Too often restaurants treat salads as an afterthought, but that was definitely not the case here. For pizza, we ordered the Tomato and Basil pizza along with a Chicken Pesto pizza. The Tomato and Basil pizza was proof that great food does not need a long list of ingredients. While it is a simple combination, every ingredient shined, creating a pizza that was fresh, balanced, and incredibly flavorful. It was impressive how much flavor could come from such a straightforward recipe. The Chicken Pesto pizza was equally outstanding. We visited this pizza spot because it was close to our hotel, and overall it was a great local place to grab a slice. We ordered two 10-inch pizzas and the cheesy bread. The cheesy bread was absolutely amazing, and the pizzas were delicious as well. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because one of our pizzas was made incorrectly. The staff was quick to correct the mistake, which we appreciated, but it did mean my daughter had to wait and watch the rest of the family eat while her pizza was being remade. That said, the restaurant was very clean, the atmosphere was quiet and comfortable, and the food was excellent. We'd definitely stop by again when we're in the area.

Now THIS is pizza!!! The food was absolutely delicious. We came with our hearts already set on pizza and salad, but we will definitely try other offerings in the future. The restaurant was clean, service was very pleasant, and we were informed that everything is fresh! (Fresh as in, no freezers fresh! I think Gordon Ramsay would be impressed!) The salad was crisp and delicious and served with an amazing homemade dressing (I forgot to take photos of the salad, and the pizza before I started eating it, LOL!) The pizzas were top notch! We will definitely return, and I highly recommend this place. Great job to this restaurant and staff!
